Terms of service
Last updated: 28 October 2026 (draft)
1. Agreement
These terms are between you (and the organisation you act for) and Gautam Krishnan, trading as DashApps ("we", "us"), the publisher of SeatGuard, an app for monday.com ("SeatGuard", "the app"). By installing or using SeatGuard you agree to them. If you install it for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.
2. The service
SeatGuard helps monday.com account admins see which guests and members can access which boards and docs, run access reviews with board owners, keep an audit trail, estimate seat savings and archive stale boards. It runs on monday code and works through monday's API with the permissions an admin approves when connecting it.
You need a monday.com account, and SeatGuard is subject to monday.com's own terms and the limits of its platform. We are not affiliated with monday.com Ltd.
3. Accounts, permissions and your responsibilities
- An account admin connects SeatGuard to your monday account and approves its permissions. You are responsible for having the right to do that and for who in your organisation has admin access.
- SeatGuard changes access, seats or boards only after an admin confirms the named people or boards, or after a board owner submits a review. You are responsible for those decisions. Check the confirmation screens before you proceed.
- Guest removals and seat changes can be undone from SeatGuard for 10 minutes. Archived boards are restored from monday's Archive, not from SeatGuard.
- Seat savings, headroom and prices shown in the app or on our website are estimates. The number of seats you pay for and the price you pay are set by monday.
- The audit trail and exports are records of what happened inside SeatGuard. They are not legal, compliance or audit advice, and do not by themselves make your organisation compliant with any standard.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use SeatGuard to break the law, to access data you are not authorised to see or change, to interfere with the service or monday.com, or to try to bypass the limits of your plan. Use it only for your own organisation's monday account.
5. Plans and payment
SeatGuard is sold through the monday.com marketplace and billed by monday. Accounts with up to 10 seats are free with every feature, and paid plans start with a 14-day trial. Plans, prices, taxes, renewals, cancellation and refunds are handled through monday's marketplace and are subject to its terms. Prices on our website are estimates; the price shown at checkout applies.
6. Your data
Your monday data stays yours. We use it only to provide SeatGuard to you, as described in the privacy policy. When you uninstall the app, we delete the account's data from SeatGuard as the privacy policy describes.
7. Will we contact you?
Yes, but only in limited ways:
- to reply to messages you send us, for example at support@dashapps.net;
- to tell you about important service, security, billing or legal matters affecting SeatGuard or these terms;
- through the app itself, where SeatGuard sends notifications inside monday that an admin has set up, such as review requests, reminders, archive notices and scan summaries.
We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not share or sell contact details. If that ever changes, we will update these terms first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep SeatGuard available but do not promise uninterrupted service. SeatGuard depends on monday.com's platform and API, which we do not control. We may change or remove features. If a change is significant, we will say so on this website or in the app listing.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling SeatGuard. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if monday.com requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 10, 11 and 12) continue after the agreement ends.
10. Disclaimers
SeatGuard is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or that the app will find every guest, board or risk, or that its estimates will match your actual savings or bill.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or loss of business, and our total liability for any claim connected to SeatGuard is limited to the amount you paid for SeatGuard in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be described at the top of this page before they take effect. Continuing to use SeatGuard after that means you accept the updated terms.
